You can use Hopster on your Apple TV by either subscribing using your Apple ID, or restoring an existing iTunes Hopster subscription. Please see below on how to do both.
Subscribe using your Apple ID
If it’s your first time using the app, you can subscribe using your usual Apple ID for a 7 day free trial.
To do this, take the following steps:
1. Launch Hopster on your Apple TV
2. Scroll along the top menu bar to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Purchase’
3. Select the first big button option that says ‘Start my free trial’
4. You’ll be prompted to enter your Apple ID for this, followed by your password
5. You’ll be prompted to enter an email address. Please use the one you use most for communication.
Congrats! You’ve successfully subscribed and can begin exploring Hopster.
Use your existing Hopster iTunes subscription
If you’ve subscribed to Hopster before on an iOS device, such as an iPhone or iPad, all you’ll need to do is Restore your subscription on the Apple TV.
Remember, all your devices need to use the same Apple ID to share your subscription across the multiple devices!
To Restore your subscription, take the following steps:
Please note: Once you've subscribed to Hopster on your Apple TV using your Apple ID, you should receive a 'Welcome to Hopster' email where you can follow the big green button 'Complete my Hopster registration'.
You'll have the option to create a new password for your Hopster account, meaning you can use these log in details to unlock Hopster on any device.
IMPORTANT: You need to make sure that you're signed in on your Apple TV with the same Apple ID that you're about to Restore your subscription with. Please check your Apple TV settings before proceeding.
1. Launch Hopster on your Apple TV
2. Scroll along the top menu bar to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Restore’
3. You’ll be prompted to enter your Apple ID, followed by your password
4. That’s it! Restore complete
